Talking My daughter!

Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since I was on here, but this time last year I was checking into PAILS of Hope several times a day. You were my lifeline. I had just suffered my second miscarriage and was feeling desperately isolated and devastated by the loss, right at the end of the first trimester when I really thought we were safe.

I had to kind of wean myself off PAILS in the end, but I will never, ever forget the warmth and support I received from a group of women whom I have never, and probably will never meet - or at least, we won't know we're meeting! But the generosity of spirit on this site, the sharing of the most heartbreaking memories and heartwarming hopes, meant everything to me at a very rough time in my life.

I checked in briefly last July on the very day I got my fourth positive pregnancy test, because I had promised myself that if ever I was lucky enough to have another chance I would share the good news with all of you, to make a change from all the miserable posts I had made! As many on here will appreciate, I could hardly believe it when I saw the thin blue line. It was months before I let myself believe I might actually have a second child at last. But on March 17th, I finally gave birth to a big, healthy, unutterably beautiful baby girl called Phoebe Rose.

Well, I just checked in to tell you all that I have never been as happy in my life as I am now and that I am sending great sackfulls of babydust to everyone who needs it, and barrel-loads of renewed thanks to everyone who helped me when I found out my third baby had died.
