Nesting!
I don't remember it being this insane with my other kids. I had so much to do, and I woke up one day and couldn't stop myself from doing it, when previously there was no way in heck I could have summoned up the energy to even begin. I got caught up completely on laundry (a big feat for me!) and cleaned my entire house top to bottom, got a bunch of BF's stuff put away (he's been gradually moving it over here from his old place, but it's mostly just been sitting there because we had nowhere to put it,) cleaned out my kids' rooms and threw out a ton of stuff, steam cleaned the carpets in their rooms and the stairs, cleaned and reorganized my room, moved my daughter's room to the spare room in the basement, moved my son into my daughter's old room, painted my son's old room which will be the baby's room, moved all the baby stuff out of my room into the baby's room (can't organize it all yet until my son's old bed gets moved out of there. Everyone got new bedding too. Now BF and I just need to finish pulling the carpet out of the laundry room, clean and paint the floor in there, take one more load of stuff to the dump, get the rest of BF's stuff put away, and steam clean the family room downstairs. I think I'm finally done with the majority of the stuff I had to do, and this all happened in the space of a week. I am stiff and sore and tired, and the Braxton Hicks have been crazy, but it feels SO GOOD to be done. I literally could NOT stop myself. It feels like if I don't do it NOW NOW NOW, there will never be time to do it ever again. I can't believe how much I got done, but I was up until the wee hours of the morning every night working on it.
Nesting instinct = NO JOKE.

That's wild! I have had that 'has to happen NOW' feeling, but never with the energy push. So glad you got all that done!

Wow, good for you. I was just thinking today that holy crap, I only have 6 weeks till my due date and I haven't really thought much about when the baby gets here. I have to do an inventory of things I need for the hospital, etc. The room is all ready but I really need to start thinking ahead now. I just don't want the pregnancy to be over with...I already know I'm going to be so sad when I'm not pregnant anymore...how weird is that?

That is amazing! I've honestly never felt more than a vague, "This house looks like a sty, I wish someone would clean it up already" feeling while pregnant.
It must be a great feeling to have accomplished so much.
