Pregnancy/TTC Hot Topic - Home Pregnancy Tests
How many home pregnancy tests did you take before you believed the result? What's your favorite brand of EPT?
I'll be posting the results in our Pregnancy Channel so share your thoughts with us!

I said I took 2 before I believed I was pregnant. The first one was soooo faint, but the next one just two hours later was clear as a bell.
I didn't stop at 2 though. I took numerous additional tests because (a) I liked it and (b) I had them on hand anyway. I even used up some OPKs because I'd read that they can be used *somewhat* as pg tests once you're a few weeks along. My favorite test was the digital that read pregnant.

You left out zero as a choice! It almost killed me, but I waited for the blood test from my RE. I did take a home test after the blood test, just because I wanted to see that line after years of negatives before our IVF.

I voted two but I just remembered it was actually 3 but I cant change my answer in the poll. The first one was clearly negative. The next day, the test had a REALLY faint line that I wasnt sure. And the third was a digital that said Pregnant.

I took two tests. The first one, I took because I was 4 days late and figured what the heck, might as well. Then the words pregnant popped up on the screen and I freaked out. My husband wanted to wait to tell anyone until I see the drs, which won't be before next week so I took another one, which just showed the plus sign this time.

The first one I took was a negative, I just knew I was pregnant by all the symptoms...after all, this would make my 3rd baby, 5th pregnancy. So I waited 5more days and took another one, this time being a light positive + sign. I'm going to test out the seemingly favorite digital test in a few more days to be sure.

I took two of the EPT one's with the "plus" sign, the sign was very faint so I went and bought 4 more of the tests that spelled it out. All four showed up "pregnant" at the same time. Kinda a waste of money I guess....

I have taken 6 test so far, I still dont believe it. I took one of the test with the lines first couple of times and they were so faint so my third was the Clear Blue Digital, amazing that it literally took a whole like 3 seconds to say "pregnant". I have been to my Primary Care Manager and they didn't even give me a test but referred me to an OBGYN that I go next Wednesday, so I'm still not 100% convinced I am pregant.
