Green poo
Ok.. everything I have read says that green poop is from a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. I've been block feeding and it's still green. It's not frothy like it was with Felicity, it's just GREEN. Her poop has been varying shades of green for probably 2-3 weeks now. Does green always mean an imbalance? Do I need to extend the amount of time on each side? I'm already only feeding on one side for 2 hours- or until the breast is drained (sometimes meaning feeding on the same side for 3 or 4 hours)... Cali doesn't always take a full feeding because of reflux- so she generally doesn't go longer than 2 hours without nursing during the day and usually doesn't drain a breast in one feeding.
Just in case this matters, I cut milk out starting Monday. We had an unexpected trip last week and I didn't have milk the whole time and realized she didn't have much of a fussy evening time while we were gone. Could have been the extra commotion of being with so many people, but I figure it's worth a try.

Amelia had a lot of green poo, too, until she was about 3 months old. It did seem like it would be more yellow (or orange) when she got more hindmilk, but I could never be sure it wasn't just a coincidence. It also seemed like it got really green if she had a cold.

M has almost always had green poop (sometimes, it was orange, and i probably asked about it here, lol). she has never had the yellow-y, seedy, typical bfed baby poop, even w/block feeding. if she isn't uncomfortable otherwise, i probably wouldn't worry about it.

It's getting better, but now I think I have mastitis
Her poop is less green and sometimes even yellow now, so I am seeing improvement. She is pretty gassy- sometimes it's very LOUD so I do think it's bothering her some, but she's more laid back than my first. Thanks.

I hope it's not mastitis! Take care of yourself.
