I've started this one and am loving it. I can't wait to read everyone else's thought on it.

I started it but it is not my cup of tea so I returned it to the library - sorry!

I loved this book. I read a fair number of memoirs and I find almost all of them have, by their very nature, an awful navel-gazing. But, if the book has a good hook, I'll read it anyway.
Initially, I was worried that I would find Elizabeth Gilbert insufferably self-centered, but it becomes clear quickly that she used a dose of self-deprecation to establish a starting point for her spiritual journey. And, it's clear that the book celebrates a process by which she heals, even if it often seems as if nothing could possibly go wrong for Gilbert. The travel was very appealing to me—each setting sufficiently exotic. And, I loved the construction of the book—dividing the three sections into vignettes, each like a prayer bead or meditation.
