Here is our discussion thread for Persepolis, one of our summer group reads. As always, be cautious of reading the posts below if you haven't finished, as they may contain spoilers.

I read this back in July just before my brother died and completely forgot to post about it. My library had 1 copy for the entire county. The librarian told me they had a hard time categorizing it.
I found it very good, scary, heartbreaking and enlightening. The cartoons are wonderful and really adds a lot to the story. I had Persepolis 2 on hold but it came in as we were preparing to leave for my brother's memorial service and I've had a hard time reading anything too sad or emotional since then so I didn't get the book. I'd like to in a month or 2 when such books don't bring out the tears so easily.
