can you believe this mentality?
an mp told us (my neighbor and myself) today that if we don't want to deal with spiteful, trouble-making people that....
we should live off-base!!!! I flat out asked him. "If she's a nuisance and causing problems for everyone else and keeps calling MPs on everyone, shouldn't she be the one who shouldn't be on base?" |

As out of line as he was, this is the exact reason that I don't live on base. Ug! The politics of who is married to whom and who has more "authority" and who considers themselves to be more important that the other people....dealing with it all just makes me crazy!
When we were in Germany, the stairwell coodinator was the highest ranking person in your building. Well, if he didn't do what he was supposed to do, why would anyone else??? So therefore, I got to live in filth for 3 years. What a great way to spend the time. ![]() My sympathies. Next time, make sure you tell him what for! I would have asked if he lived on base. Would have made sense based on his attitude.

he doesn't. he said the only way he was moving on base is if he were offered bonnie blink, which is for e7 & up and he's only e6. That's ok, though. when I asked why the nuisance has the right to stay and we should move, he said he's going to bring the situation to the attention of his command. after three times to the same residence, he said they get kicked out with no bah. so hopefully they'll take her butt out when they realize that she is causing problems for everyone else. the only time they've been out when someone was called on her is when she left her children alone. plus, friend's dh is going to speak to chief of housing today. he thinks he may be able to get farther now that he's a warrant officer instead of a "lowly enlisted". and dh is going to go talk to her as well bc he's already got a working relationship with her from when one of his soldier's had a family emergency. one good thing came out of it all. we found out that the mp should've never made a report when I "tried to hit her car" bc there was no moving violation. so we are also calling the mp station, finding out why it was written and put on the blotter, and demanding that they fix the situation. |
