Co-sleeping and blankets -1yr old

Quick quesiton. We are co-sleeping with Iain who just turned 1 yr old on the 14th. We have been placing him on top of the blankets b/t us to sleep. he sleeps in a Halo sleepsck in addition to whatever pjs he is wearing. I am wondering at what point is it safe to let him under the covers with us.

We only coslept with our oldest the first 2 months...after that he was in his own room/bed so we never had this situation.

thanks in advance....

Stazi is nearly 10 months old and we usually let her sleep under the blankets at this point. I make sure they're never over her head, and I also make sure our pillows are nowhere near her head, but I do go ahead and let her underneath the blankets. Personally at one year I would go ahead and do it, but it's really a matter of whether you're comfortable with it or not. Anything that causes you to lose sleep due to worrying about the baby being caught under a blanket is not worth it.

I think it is fine at this point if you feel comfortable with it. My dd has been crawling in and out of the covers for a few months now. She pulls them up and gets under when cold and then throws them off when hot. I wish she would just not throw them off of me when she is hot becaue I am not always hot too

We've had Kiran under the sheets from the beginning though only up to his armpits. I always have my arm over him but he always ends up kicking them off of himself and me!

Sophia is under the blankets...has been for a long time...but she kicks them all off...I would say it's ok if you are comfortable with it.
