Mine is simple - a prefold in a wrap, sometimes with a fleece doubler. The only time I had a leak with this was last year when I still had Carter in the smaller newborn prefolds and he was big enough for the next size but I didn't realize it. Somehow it always surprises me when he outgrows things!!

Cloth - a fuzzi bunz with either a hemp prefold or two joey bunz inside.
Disposable - Good quality diapers like Pampers. Thomas is a VERY heavy nighttime wetter and these tips have worked for us!

For nighttime with liv it HAS to be hemp
So she either goes in a First Class Baby fitted dipe or a Muttaqin fitted dipe with a wool soaker or wrap. I like my Kiwi Pie for nighttime or my (well rather her) The Cushie Tushie soaker.Tammy |

My son has been through several long phases of being a very heavy wetter. For several months a fuzzibunz with two Joeys and a MOE microterry insert would do the trick but he grew and I started having gaping issues with the fuzzibunz. So, when Fuzzibunz fit right, that's what I use. When they don't fit right we have leaks.
I tried hemp fitteds- sugarpeas and kindheartedwomen with an additional hemp nighttime insert covered in wool. These worked, but I was just not happy with the feel of a soaking wet hemp fitted on my little guy. It felt like a brick diaper. Cold and stiff even around the waist. For a few months we worked on a good system. For a few months we had leaks almost every night- even disposables he was leaking out of. Eventually what I've had the most luck with is Pampers custom fit for night. For now, I'm sticking with it!

It has been a few years now since my dd toilet trained, but I still remember my favorite nighttime system. It was a Motherease Sandy's with a Bareware triple-layer terry/fleece doubler and a ME Airflow cover. Later I bought some Benjamuffins dipes and these were also terrific with the doubler and Airflow cover. I don't know if the Benjamuffins are still made though. I am amazed at the new brands I see on this thread. I was such a cloth diapering connoisseur (as SusanH can attest) and I don't recognize most of these names!

I always have a pack of the next size up diapers just for nightime use. It works like a charm. I have started doing this with my newborn too. If she does not have a bm while feeding I just put her back down. The diaper change wakes her up and it takes a lot longer to get her back down. I swear this has trained her how to sleep at night.

I use the next size up diaper when ds starts wetting through at night (even if it is too big). It works every time.
