Just bought some new diapers (and a nursing bra!)

I discovered that I had an extra $300 in my checking account, so I went ahead and splurged. I just had to share, because we so rarely spend money on anything.

One of the things I got was just 24 Chinese prefolds in the newborn size. Unfortunately we just discovered that all our newborn cloth diapers are missing. We must have misplaced them in the move. I found six, but that's all, and with only six diapers, I am doing laundry twice a day -- Not Acceptable! So I ordered two dozen more. I also ordered one each of a Fuzzi Bunz diaper and a Wonderoo diaper, for nighttime usage. I figure we'll try them both out and whichever one we like better, we'll order a few more. Stazi seems to be really sensitive to wetness, so we need a good nighttime solution, and the pocket-style diapers seem like a good choice. I got a couple of hemp inserts to use with them as well. I'm looking forward to trying them out.

The other thing I ordered today was a Bravado nursing bra. I feel so splurgey on this one. I have a maternity bra that I've been using as a nursing bra, but it's so stretched out and milk-stained. I'm very happy to be getting a new one. It's polka-dotted, no less!

Anyway. Just had to share. Also, if anyone has any experiences with either the Fuzzi Bunz or the Wonderoos, please share, I'd love to know how other people like these diapers.

We have 2 Fuzzi Bunz that we use for night-time use.

The fleece does seem to keep him drier at night, and the cover is good. I just stuff it with a prefold or two.

I wouldn't use them during the day - don't like the stuffing (and the UN-stuffing) proccess, especially with a messy butt. But they are great for over-nights.
