Cool Love her laid back attitude

I really like the relationships I developed with my CNMs I had in Tennessee, but I really like the CNM I have here now. She is so cool about being intervention free. I had my 36 week appointment this evening and she told me that she only does internals if you request it. I then asked about the group B strep test. She said that at their practice they don't do it routinely, they go by risk factors. Since I've tested neg two times before it is not a concern. Also she leaves it up to me to choose whether to come in to see her in another week or wait until two weeks since things are going well. I have been controlling my bloodsugars by diet and this kid is still growing by leaps and bounds, no mention of induction For a non stress test she just wiggled him around and his heart rate went up to 170 and then back down to 140's, no having to be strapped in a chair for 20 min. I know that the OB in charge at my old practice would probably be worried about the baby getting "too big" and having me come in for weekly non stress tests so this is really nice since I usually have to tote a 3 year old and a 2 year old with me to my appointments.
