WAHM Hot Topic: Entertaining Children
How do you keep your kids entertained while you're working? Do you have a helper who takes care of them? Do you have a special area by your workspace?
Share your thoughts with us and we'll archive this thread for the work at home moms cubby. Thanks!

DH is my lifesaver there. When the kids were little, he worked a night shift so he could watch them while I worked during the day. When they got old enough for school, he switched to days, but has switched back the past two summers.
If I have an interview during the day and the kids are here, he has arranged to come home for a late lunchtime so I can do it. If he's not available, I've been known to put them in front of a long video. I'm hoping that as they get older and are able to play independently, it will get easier to work with them in the house and no backup on those rare occasions that I need to work when they're out of school.
