I just finished! I really loved this book. Leo is waking now, so I'll have to find another time to give details, but just wanted to post here and encourage others to try this one, too.

I finished this yesterday and loved it! I've already requested two more Gaiman novels from the library. The only other Gaiman work I had read before this was the novel he co-wrote with Terry Pratchett, which I also enjoyed.

I'll try and write more when I have more time; right now I just wanted to join Caryl in encouraging everyone to read Stardust.

This book was so much fun! I'll definitely recommend it to others. I read it described as an "adult fairy tale" which is a perfect description. Quick, imaginative, richly detailed, and with a happy ending.

I have forgotten many of the details of Gaiman's Neverwhere but it was much darker and more gruesome. Still very good and worth reading, but somewhat disturbing. I think I'll pick up Good Omens.

Finally finished this book! I really liked it...something I probably would never have chosen on my own. I just found it to be a very enjoyable read. I do have one question although it was probably answered and I just forgot or didn't catch it...how did the start end up with the topaz from the Stronghold family?
