Dear Alexis,

I just wanted to tell you how incredibly happy I am that your beautiful Samantha is here, happy, and healthy. What a miracle she is and such a blessing.

As for looking like Allison, I know that is probably scary and wonderful all at once. I remember the pc coming in to do Emma's echo when she was just a couple hours old. We hadn't seen him since we had left the hospital when Noah went home. The first thing that he said was "my God, does she look like her brother!" It was painful and joyful all at once. It was neat knowing that as she got older, maybe I would have some idea of what he would have looked like.

Enjoy you little miracle and may she always be a happy reminder of Allison.
