I'm really pleased about a conversation I just had with some coworkers. One is trying to get pregnant, and was discussing with the others possible hospitals to give birth in. I asked if she'd ever considered a birthing center and/or midwife, and she hadn't even heard of birthing centers and wanted to know what it is. I explained a bit and she is very interested, and asked if I can help her find one in town. Well I know there must be more than one, but I don't know how to go about finding them and getting info for her. Are there searchable online databases for this kind of thing?
