Well, so far so good. My beta numbers came in perfect for 5wks2d, more than doubling, (first was at 15, then we did 48 hrs apart at 385 to 1011) just like they were supposed to. But, as my DH said, we knew that.
Anyway, my next hurdle is in three weeks for an u/s to check out the bean and see how he/she is doing. My dr. was kind enough to offer an earlier one, but I declined for two reasons, one is we are going away on vacation with DS (yay! Disneyland!) and I wanted to be blissfully ignorant of any problems or issues, and two, I thought, it's still early in the pregnancy, that if we didn't see anything positive, than they'd probably send me home and tell me to come back in a week or two just to be sure, so either way I figured I'd be waiting. This way, going in three weeks, if things aren't right, we know that enough time has passed and we can make decisions if necessary. DH tells me this one is different he can feel it.
It is different for me, too, in that I am feeling a little more sick with this one than DS and pg. #2. I haven't actually puked yet, but sometimes it seems like a good idea!
