What are you reading this week? What are you looking forward to reading soon?
You can just list the book or books you're working on, or you can add a few sentences about them, or you can write a short review for us, if you like!
Share your book experiences with us here. :)

I am reading A Murder is Announced. I amm almost done with it and am enjoying it much more than A Pocket Full of Rye. I started The Red Tent, but I haven't really gotten into it yet.

I'm also reading A Murder Is Announced. Plus, my new Brain, Child magazine. :)
Next up, probably a Janet Evanovich mystery.

I just finished the last Stephanie Plum book, Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich (thank goodness this one didn't end on a cliffhanger!) along with Pocket Full of Rye.
I have a ton of books awaiting my attention right now, almost all of which I mentioned last week. I may start About a Boy next. I've never read Nick Hornby before, although I did see the film of High Fidelity.

Drat! I lost my post due to using two smilies, so now you get the short version without fancy underlining!
I just finished The Orchid Thief by Susan Orleans. It is full of fascinating orchid and Florida lore. I found it interesting, but slow reading.
Right now I'm reading Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot and Other Observations by Al Franken. I just love witty political satire, with a liberal slant please (though I don't know if there is such a thing as lighthearted conservative satire ;)).
I'm not sure what my next "main" read will be: Was by Geoff Ryman, Strange Fits of Passion by Anita Shreve, or David Guterson's Snow Falling on Cedars. I also have the first 4 Outlander books in my nightstand - not sure what I'm waiting on there.
Susan, you really cranked through those Stephanie Plum books! I'll have to take our discussion of Hard Eight to email so we don't spoil it for Caryl.

I'm on a biography kick currently, so I'm reading Laura: The Life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. After that I have I Remember Laura. She had the most amazing life.

I have discovered the joy of books on tape/cd. I can get SO much done while the boys are asleep, PLUS I get to "read" in the process!
Right now I'm listening to Secret Place of Thunder, but I just finished up Insomnia a few days ago. I also started to read The Red Tent, but discovered it was much more enjoyable to listen to it. I have 3 others waiting to be "read", but probably won't get to them for a little while yet.
At night when there is nothing to do and everyone is in bed I am working my way through Kid Cooperation. :)
