We will be activating the private message feature (PM) for our registered members shortly! Once it is available, you can access your PM page in your control panel and then set up your variables.
Very important: If you were a member last Fall when PM was available, you may still have old messages in your folders and this will cause your PM box to fill up sooner and not operate. On your main PM page you will find this option:
Show Messages From: last day last 30 days
We suggest that you backdate to "The beginning" and delete everything in each folder so that you can begin saving messages again. It will be very important to clear out your folders routinely. PM is not like Email. Your box will fill up when you have a combination of 30 messages in all folders. This includes your sent folder. 30 is the default number in the software so we are going to play it safe and start there to see what it does. Once we see how our bandwidth is doing we hope to increase this number. :)
