I just finished Black Boy by Richard Wright. It was very good. Very well written. It was an autobiographical book about his life. He lived 1908-1960. It tells of his life living in the South as a youth and the North as a man during the Depression. Very interesting. This guy was shunned from both his race and whites. Very determined as a child. I wanted to beat him. If you like books dealing with history/black experience in America, I'd recommend it.
