With baby two due any time now, I've been looking for some more positive and informative books on homebirth to keep me busy. Any suggestions? Also- what did you find to be your most valued piece of advice regaurding your homebirth?

HI Tina~ LTNS!~

"Birth Your Way" by Sheila Kitzinger is fairly new. Just came out in March. It's very good. Lots of neat pictures.

Best advice?
Have someone here for the kids! (Preferably someone other than your 9 month pregnant sister! The kids ran my sis ragged.)

I like "The Birth Book" by William Sears. It is not strictly about homebirth but there is great ibfo in there.

Best advice - be flexible. And have plenty of food and drink that you like to keep strong and hydrated.
