Went to my appointment today, and sure enough, the doc couldn't find the heartbeat. She immediately turned on the u/s machine and low and behold, we have a wild child moving around too much to have been able to hear the heartbeat! I mean this kid was arching its little back and throwing itself around, waving to its brothers and kicking with all its little might! Looked like a little party in there :D
Doc says everything looks great and I am starting some new prenatals to get my blood volume up for the high altitude move. We'll have the level 2 u/s and fetal echo in NM.
I told my husband that I have a feeling that we are in for it with this one. I am now officially bonded.... I am soooo in love with my little wild one! :) YAY!!!! I really really jsut got this great feeling while looking at him/her up there on that screen. I feel like everything is OK now. Expecting more nervous moments, but that's to be expected.. My boys were so happy and excited, they keep showing people what the baby was doing in there. Thanks you guys for all the positive thoughts and support!
