That's what I keep chanting to myself. My sister is getting induced today because her doctor isn't on call over the weekend and he said she could go anytime (she doesn't know her exact due date). I spoke with her this morning on the phone while she was hooked up and she said that as soon as she hit three cm she would be getting the epidural. I've been a good sister and not shared my opinion with her, but gosh it bothers me. I hope everything goes ok and the baby and her are ok.

Don't mind me, I'm just venting and worrying!

I totally understand your concern!! Sounds like my SIL a month ago. She induced for conveinence. Thankfully it all went well..and VERY quickly..no time for epidural (which she swore she would get!).

Keep us updated!

My new nephew, Mason Douglass, was born yesterday weighing 8 lbs. 15 ounces! Everything worked out well! Phew! Thanks you all for being a nice shoulder to lean on!

Mary, I'm so glad to hear Mason's arrival went so well!!

I can understand your feelings. When friends start walking that tightrope, I usually bite my tongue or offer sources to look into in a *very* gentle way, encourage them however I can, and pray that they make it across unscathed.

Hope she has a sweet babymoon!
