What are you reading this week? What are you looking forward to reading soon?

You can just list the book or books you're working on, or you can add a few sentences about them, or you can write a short review for us, if you like!

Share your book experiences with us here. :)

I am reading A Pocket Full of Rye and The Red Tent is waiting in the wings. I am anxious to read it because all of you ladies seemed to like it so much!

I have a giant stack of books that I really do mean to read, several of them impressively large and scholarly-looking. However, I just got an e-mail notice that the 7th Stephanie Plum book is waiting for me at the library, so the heck with all of those other things ;)

I have A Pocket Full of Rye waiting for me, as well as some homeschooling books, The Educated Child by William Bennett and a biography of Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser.

Recently I read a bunch of fluff, several Janet Evanovich books and Where the Heart Is, which was far better than the miscast film. I was surprised by how much I liked it.

I took a break from reading to do some cross-stitching, but have started reading again.

I finished 'Bridget Jones' Diary' - I know that most of you have read it already, but I enjoyed it and it was light reading.

I also read 'One True Thing' by Anna Quindlan (sp.) - I enjoyed this book as well, it did have me crying quite a few times. I liked 'Black and Blue' better though.

I have been reading the Webelos Scout Book, as my son is in cub scouts and I am the den mother. ;)

Next up is 'Message In a Bottle'

Right now I am reading The Worst Day of My Life So Far by M.A. Harper.

Next is The Gift of Motherhood by Che'rie Carter-Scott, PH.D

I am also thinking of re-reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets before the movie comes out next month!

I just finished Cave Girl today by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Aaaaahhhhh...I love that book! It's such fun light reading. A nice change after last months reading circle choice. I'm so bummed that I didn't get to discuss much about it due to StorkNets down time.

Now I don't know what I'll read.

I love this. Lots of these books are ones I want to read. Knowing you guys are getting to them lets me experience them through you!

Heather, I think you will love The Red Tent. Make sure to search our forum and read our posts as you go through the book. You can add to them, too, if you like!

Susan, how cool that your library sends emails about requests that have come in. My libraries only give phone calls, I think, although I can request them online. I'll have to check into this. BTW, I enjoyed Where the Heart Is, too. Such interesting characters!

Debbie, you could do a search here, too, to see our posts on Bridget Jones's Diary. Glad you enjoyed it!

sdebarrios, do a search on our forum for House of the Spirits. I recently added to these posts, so you can certainly still add your thoughts, too. I am enjoying light reading, too, after that one!

Others you guys mentioned that I want to read: the Janet Evanovich mysteries (I've read a few), One True Thing, Harry Potter's second book (I'm reading it now, but put it aside), Divine Secrets and Snow Falling on Cedars.

A Pocket Full of Rye, of course. :) I have lots on my nightstand, including Janet E., Harry Potter, and The Bookshop by Penelope Fitzgerald.
