Update on "Very disappointed"

I had called and left a message for my midwife (the one that has been working with me but can't actually take care of me). She called back and I told her about the stupid new rule at the OBs office. She wasn't surprised and said that I can keep looking for an OB that will let me at least try for a VBAC or (and this is the cool part) she said that she wasn't sure how open I'd be to this idea but she could help me find a lay midwife and try for an HBAC. :D I'm so excited that she and I are on the same wavelength and that she thinks it would be okay for me to try for a homebirth. She's read all my records from my OB in Kansas so she knows the medical side of everything. I trust her and if she thinks its safe, I'm going with it.
