We are looking for women who will respond to notes posted here by other members who would like to talk with someone who has already gone through similar difficulties with pregnancy. These may be uncomfortable things such as morning sickness, migraines, indigestion or heartburn. Or, they may be more intense such as infections, diseases, gestational diabetes, placenta previa, bedrest, pre-eclampsia, cord accidents, miscarriage, etc.

If you would like to help, respond here with your name and description of what you would like to discuss with a member. We'll email you if there is a note you can respond to with support. Remember, we do not give out medical advice. Words of support may include:

"I understand"
"I have been there"
"I know how you feel"
"My health care provider told me this, but you need to talk with your own provider"
"These were my experiences"
"This book helped me a great deal"
"Sometimes this helped me, but please talk with your health care provider"
"While I was on bedrest, these things helped me a great deal"
"Communicate with your friends and relatives and tell them what you need"
"We care"
etc.

Words help. Support is always appreciated. Friendship helps us from feeling so alone. Thank you all, ahead of time.

Hi! I have had two early miscarriages. I have tested that confirmed antiphospholipids which cause clotting in the placenta. I will have to be on heparin and baby aspirin as well as prometrium. Anyone else out there???

Hi msliss my name is jayne would love to chat to you about your experience with cerlage, i have incompetent cervic got emergency stitch put in at 14 weeks lost my little girl at 17 weeks doc admits couldnt pull it tight enough, this pregnancy got put in at 12 weeks before cervic started to move am presently at 15 weeks had some bleeding but doc not worried oh and this time is twins, doc said if he had known earlier would have suggested to get rid of one, but to late now, have had 3 other miscarriages one second trimester thats when they worked out my cervic might be to blame had two D&C's and two blood transfusions. done all this in last two years, but am also blessed with two beautiful teenages mathew and jessica.
thanks

Hi Jayne, Congratulations!! I didn't have an incompetent cervix but I did have triplets and went into preterm labor. Will you be going on bedrest? I went on bedrest at 20 weeks and I stayed on bedrest until I delivered, it was hard but it was worth it. I thought we had a few moms here that had a cerclage, hopefully they will have a moment to post. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, you can start a brand new thread in this forum.
Good luck!!
