Hi Maribeth- when I log in I get this message without fail:

Could not find phrase 'invalid_redirect_url_x'.

I then click on "Message Boards" on the bottom and can then see my boards, without having to log in again. This happens on my home computer as well as my work computer. Any ideas how to make this go away?

I'll make sure she sees this. :)

Julie - did this start right after the boards came back up when we were down a few weeks ago? I think there are some database errors caught somewhere.

What I suggest for a starter is to delete your cookies on both computers and see if it makes any difference at all. I will mention it to vbulletin as we're also having a problem with membership renewals updating automatically. Let me know if you have any change after deleting your cookies. There are instructions for how to do in this forum.

Thanks!
Maribeth

ETA: Here's the URL for deleting cookies: http://www.storknotes.com/showthread.php?t=353251 - also, what url are you using when you log in? thx

Thanks for the helpful hints, MB. I'm off for the summer, but I tried deleting cookies on my home computer and there were none to delete (I would have been surprised if there were; my secureware is set up to regularly delete all cookies). It is still happening, though. I log in to "storknotes.com."

If something can be done to resolve, great. If not-- it's just taking me through an extra step so no big. :)

I'm having the same issue. Started right after the boards came up.

Julie - what kind of secureware are you using? vbulletin wants to know.

Thanks!

I'm using Norton. Do you need more specifics than that?

I'll tell them that and see what they come back with. Thanks!

FYI-- I just logged in and, for the first time in recent memory, I went straight to the boards instead of the error message. :)

I still get the error message too. It's not that big a deal -- at least, it wasn't once I realized I coudl still see the boards by clicking on the Storknotes graphic.

Boo. Back to the error message. I just deleted my cookies again and restarted- still got the error message.

Bump. Still happening. Is this still happening for the rest of you?

I'm sorry Julie - was in the hospital last week and still not at work.

vbulletin says it's something on your end because so very few people are having the problem. I'm sorry - I don't know what else to do. There's a cookie or something with your virus software that's causing the problem - in their opinion.

Sorry-- double post. :)

Ah yes-- the "we don't know why, therefore it's not on our end" response. I got the same response from IT at my office, when I showed them, only they pointed the finger at vbulletin (of course). :) Okay. I have to be at my mother's tonight-- if I remember, I'll try to log in there just for grins, and see if their supposition is correct.

Thanks for trying. :)
