The last time I posted a note here was over 5 months ago. Back then I experienced severe bleeding on my 9th week which lasted til around the 17th week of pregnancy. I was on complete bedrest for two weeks in the hospital and the rest of the time at home. The bleeding was caused by a blood clot on my uterus far from the placenta (subchorionic hematoma).
I'm happy to announce to everyone that we pulled thru. After the 17th or 18th week it was found that the hematoma completely disintegrated and the bleeding stopped on its own. I'm now on my 34th week and we are expecting to deliver a baby girl on Feb 28th. All signs look good, everything's been great for both mom and baby since the bleeding stopped.
Please post this good news on the relevant discussion group as there were quite a lot of women from that group who were going thru the same thing. It wasn't the bed rest (I cheated and went out earlier than doctor said), or medication (no medicines were given to me)... but it was pure faith and prayers that saved my baby. I wish everyone the best!!!
