...I decided not to find out the gender? Because I'm thinking of not finding out. I figure I've waited this long, why not go all the way.

Not me!!! I'm waiting too! I really don't care what we have either way & I want the excitement of the dreams leading up to delivery possibly giving me clues & the doctor yelling out, "It's a ....."
We waited w/ my son but I was soooo sure he was a boy that I wasn't surprised at all. This time I am feeling boy but have so far had dreams of both so it's still a mystery.
I did like finding out w/ the girls. I wanted girls both times SO badly that I wanted to plan ahead. But, I feel lucky to have experienced both ways of finding out.

We waited until the birth of Brett to find out if he was a boy or girl. All the others we found out before. I can honestly say I much prefer finding out before but if you don't want to find out, that's up to you and anyone that gets upset about it needs to butt out. :p
Me, OTOH, will be finding out as soon as possible. Probably 16 weeks.

As long as that means two times the name discussion, I'm good with waiting. ;)

We found out one time, but not the other three. NOTHING is like finding out in that adrenaline/success moment who joined your family! I loooove it so!
So you wait if you want to! Nothing compares.

The only thing is that there really isn't an adrenaline/success moment when the doctor just slices me open and pulls the baby out. I'm still thinking about it though.

I waited with my first three. It is really fun to wonder. If I were you I would wait!

I've never waited, but I can understand the appeal. I do know a few women who had planned c/s who decided to wait to make the birth more of a surprise - since the birthday was already picked out, they liked getting to announce gender and name to everyone after the c/s.

Well, my two top supporters, my dh and sister, are really not wanting to wait, so I guess it was suspenseful while it lasted.
I also kept thinking about how bad my ob's office is at concealing the gender. I wish they didn't even put it in the records. I just remember them referring to my first born as a girl when I had chosen not to find out. I wasn't sure if they were just generically referring to the baby, or if they knew it was a girl. I figured there was still a 50% chance I was having a girl. I just wouldn't want to wait only to be told at some other point by accident.
And, I would hate to disappoint any of you by waiting :D.

you are stronger than me if you wait.. I couldn't do it lol.. but if you do... I can see how the surprise would be cool too ;)

And you know I would have been royally irritated if you didn't find out! I need something to get me through my last 3 months. hahahaha. :-P Just kidding, but the suspense of what you are having is already killing me. I.need.to.know.asap. I'm feeling BOY for you, so I can't wait to find out if I'm right.
