Thought I'd add my own name thread/poll!

We're set with Rose as a middle name; now it's just a matter of picking the first name!

As I feared/predicted, I am having a hard time looking beyond Stella. Zoe is also still completely convinced her sister's name will be Stella. But I'm trying hard to keep an open mind because dh is still non-commital. I'm sure I'll be boring you with lots more name threads in the upcoming weeks!

I voted for Stella because it's a great name and because it's your top pick. Is your DH opposed or just uncertain? Ella and Annika are tied for second place for me. I'm not crazy about Harper.

I love the name Harper. I know a little girl named Harper -- she's the daughter of a friend of ours. It's a great girl's name.

Here's an interesting piece of useless trivia: My daughter's name is Kydrenn (pronounced Kidron), and we live in a town called Harper. We know some people who live in Kidron, Ohio, and their daughter's name is Harper.:lol:

I'm not sure about dh. He's not being very communicative about Stella. I know he likes the name; I just think he may like Annika better. As I may have mentioned in a previous thread, going into Zoe's birth we had narrowed the names down to Zoe Marija and Annika Rose. I think he was leaning a bit more towards Annika even then (while I was leaning towards Zoe), so I get the feeling that the name is sticking with him even four years later. I like Annika, but I like Stella better.

No, it's good to know were not coming up with awful choices! :lol:

If I had to wager a guess, I'd bet we go into the birth with Stella Rose and Annika Rose as options and choose after we see her. (I can't definitively pick out a name without seeing the baby. What if I look at her and think, "Nope, not a Stella!")

But I do have a particular soft spot for Harper too and another name could come in out of the blue as well. Dh is not focusing on it for the moment and there's no point in trying to get him to focus when he's not ready. We still hopefully have four months so that gives us time. Zoe's love for the name Stella is helping my cause a lot; she has him wrapped around her little finger big time! :lol: I am just keeping my mouth shut about it with him for now and will keep posting my thoughts here!

I can't pick. I like them all though I would say that Stella is my least favorite.
