Because I'm an idiot, I gave away all of my maternity clothes after Sarah was born. The only thing I kept (thank goodness I kept it!) was my maternity winter coat.

Since this is absolutely, positively, no mistaking it, the last child, I want to get as few clothes as I can possibly get away with. What's the bare minimum that I'll need, do you think? Knowing me, I'll be in maternity clothes within the next 4-5 weeks, so I'm starting to browse around for some now. Annoyingly, I'll need to buy a set of clothes for winter (it's freezing here in Wisconsin) and another set for late spring/early summer.

What would you buy? I'm thinking:
~2 pairs jeans/pants
~4 t-shirts that could potentially be worn through the summer
~3 sweaters to go over the t-shirts until summer

Do you think that's enough? Keep in mind that I never, ever dress up for anything because my life is just that glamorous. ;)

My DH groans that I still have maternity clothes in a box in th attic (we are double sterile  ). Perhaps, I should take a look through. Not sure if the styles would be way out of date? What size would you be?

You're going to be dying in June and July if you don't have any shorts to wear. Even up there, you're going to think its 100 degrees at the end of your pregnancy. Of course, you can wait to buy those. I'd think as long as you have plenty of yoga/sweat pants and shirts to go with your list, you'll be ok.

Oh, thanks KC! I'm not sure what size I am - usually I'm a 10/12/L, but I'm bigger than ever before and am probably more like a 12/14/L/XL.

Yeah, Mel, I know I'll need summer stuff, but that definitely needs to wait. I'm generally so big in my last two months that maternity clothes don't fit. And if I keep mainlining carbs the way I have been, I'll be lucky if maternity clothes fit during the second trimester. I'll be shopping at Lulu's House of MuuMuus.

I think your list seems about right.

I'm a big fan of maternity clothes that double as nursing shirts because I get more use out of them. I like Japanese Weekend During and After clothes. They're a bit pricey in my opinion, so only buy things on clearance. I have a few short sleeved shirts that I'll wear cardigans and sweaters over once I go back to MN in March.

I'm in that awkward phase between regular and maternity clothes. I'm really tall and long-torsoed that it takes me a long time to pop. Everyone told me it would be different with my second pregnancy, but not so much.
