Food intolerance?

Sarah nursed after dinner, around 9:30 and again just after 10. Then she went on a major spit up and screaming jag with hiccups in between. I am assuming she had trouble with something I ate today. How do I narrow down the culprit so this doesn't happen again? In the mean time do I just continue to nurse as normal and just deal with the spit up and screaming?

If this is the first time that's happened, I would note what you ate for dinner tonight and then not really change anything. If it does happen again at some random time, then you can start looking for a pattern. It can be pretty hard to determine what you need to eliminate, and at this point, based on one incident, I wouldn't rule out anything. Both of my boys had reflux that wasn't related to any particular food, BUT it was "silent" - it wasn't painful, just messy. And all of them had gas issues at some point or another.

I hope it doesn't happen again.
