And now I've dried up. I pumped exactly one ounce this morning. Yesterday morning, I pumped three. I'm just blogging here. No need to respond.

Darn pumps ! Don't let a day of low output discourage you - it certainly doesn't mean you've dried up.

I know. You're right. This is just how my body works. I have adequate supply for the first month or so and then I have to start fighting to keep it up, and deal with cranky, hungry babies! I made it 10 months with Kyle and 9 with Anna, so I'm hoping the girls will hold out at least that long this time, too.

I broke out the Mother's Milk tea today. I hope it still works if you pour it over ice!

Thanks for the encouragement!

i heard the same thing about pump output vs. real supply. drink your tea (i used to let it get cold, lol) and eat some oatmeal. good luck!

You mean the random let-down was supposed to go away? I guess it has gotten a bit better. I used to have major issues in the middle of the night. Then again, Amelia used to sleep at night. Now she just eats all night long.

I know what you mean about milk supply fluctuations. Some days, I'm practically in tears thinking I'm not producing enough while I'm at work. Other days, I'm all excited about how much I pumped, and I start thinking I can relax about my supply.

I had a crock-pot oatmeal recipe Melanie that was a huge help in my milk supply. Set it up every night and eat 2-3 bowls throughout the day. I'm not sure I can still find it but I will look and post it.

I'm still having random let-downs and leaking issues. I don't remember it lasting this long with Declan....
