I have had very sore nipples this week, not breasts, just nipples. It's made worse when DS nurses, and I've helped it by wearing a sports bra instead of a regular bra. I thought maybe thrush, but again, the rest of my breast feels fine and I see nothing in DS's mouth.

Things I don't want to mention or think about...I have yet to start my period since DS was born, haven't temped or anything, but I did have sever cramping earlier this week and best I can recall the soreness started after that.

Anybody know what is going on? Ovulation? PMS? some other problem?

That happens to me sometimes and I also don't know why. I end up going back to my Lasinoh stuff for a couple of days and it gets better. That isn't a lot of help I know. Hopefully someone has better advice than me!

This happens to me about a week before I get my period (which started 8 weeks post partum unfortunately, even with exclusive breastfeed) :(. Maybe that's going to start soon for you. Hope not though.

I also started my period about 8 weeks post partum. My nipples hurts sometimes too. I never thought it could be b/c of my period. I thought he was not latching right

I guess. We dtd on Saturday, then I had pretty severe cramping on Monday/Tuesday? can't remember which day, then this started the day after. Cramping to the point of nausea again yesterday and still no show for AF. I guess if I still don't see her by next weekend I might need to POAS! :eek:

Well, I guess it was all PMS. AF showed this morning. Not bad though, 17 1/2 months without! I'll take it! Now....off to figure out how temping works while nursing!!!
