Hey everyone, I thought it was time we should all give some updates on how we are all doing and what is going on with the kids.
We will be having a very busy June as usual. The girls have their dance recital tonight, they had their dress rehearsal last night. They did awesome, OK so I'm a proud mother, LOL! Only Jenna & Brooke are in dance this year, Hannah wasn't into it this year. But of course now she thinks she *may* want to do it again next year.
Next weekend we will be having the girls birthday party, so all this week I will be trying to clean the house, shop, make cakes and work, Arrrrrggg!
Oh and we are going to Disney on the 22nd, WooooHoooo! The girls are so excited. This is my first time too so I'm kind of excited too. Got any tips? We will be staying at a hotel in the park, so I think that will be easier for us.
I'm kind of looking forward to July so we can just sit back and relax, Ahhhhh. The girls will be going to Girl Scout camp for one session (2 weeks) in August, it's their first time so I hope they do ok. It's day camp, I'm not ready for overnight yet.
So what's going on with you?

Great idea!
Max and Sadie are......well.........almost two. :D :D
They are into everything at the moment. Climbing, opening/locking doors, you name it, they are doing it together.....tag teaming it! BUT, they love to be together, play wonderfully together (for the most part) and are very happy-go-lucky kids. (again, for the most part). Up until the past month or so, they both have been great sleepers. Both nap well during the day in seperate rooms and share a room at night. They wake between 6 and 7am and giggle and talk to one another until we come get them. It's really dear to listen to them in the wee hours of the morning. They truly do have their own way of communicating. :)
Sadie has been having some night waking lately. I think it's nightmares, so I have been putting her in bed with me when she wakes and she goes back to sleep. Max wakes in the am. and doesn't seem to bothered, as it's usually about once a week.
Older DS is 7 and loves having twins still but doesn't love their new mobility and ability to get into his room. But he does love their ability to play more now.
Looking forward to the summer at the pool....they love the baby pool. Hopefully it will work out for us to go there regularly, saving us from another summer imprisoned in the house. :o
Can't wait to hear more updates!

Helena & Athena are going to be 3 in just a few months here. I signed them up for a summer program at the Y that starts June 19th. I think they'll do ok there. I really want them to start associating with other kids more so this is a great opportunity. It's only 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours.
Still keeping us very busy getting into everything and anything although they are slowing down a bit as far as that goes. Picking up speed on running away from us though while we're at the park which drives me insane. I really never go anywhere by myself with them b/c they just don't sit still.
That's our life in a nutshell. :)

Meriel and Rowan are home with our new Nanny and her son, now. They're 18 months, and are learning so much right now, I hate to leave them!
Rowan is talking up a storm. She's adding words almost daily, and is consistantly using 2-3 word sentences, much the way Gabe did at this age (or a bit ahead, even). Meriel is chattering in her own language still, but my concerns for her language development are fading - turned out her long silences while being spoken to are social anxiety ('the shys'), not a language issue. She does get over her shyness pretty quickly, but when someone notices her for the first time, she freezes up completely, and if I pick her up, her heart is POUNDING.
They're also totally into the playset in the yard, now that it is nice enough to play outside every day. Both Meriel and Rowan can climb up and slide down on their own, though M sometimes flies off the end of the slide and lands on her tuckus harder than planned (she takes this well, and just goes and tries again). They've learned how to slow themselves down, and Meriel can now climb half way back up the slide the wrong way ( ), when our backs are turned...
Two little monkey girls, that's what I've got! Chattering, climbing, squealing... :)
Gabe and Bren are also doing well. We're waiting for test results from Bren's last round, but hopefully we'll have those back this week. Gabe is excited about the end of the school year, too. ;)

Hi Arabella & Julianna turned 5 this year and will be going off to kindergarten this fall. I cannot believe how fast time has flown! They have been in the special education pre-k for speech delay and have just been de-classified. They will still get speech in kindergarten.
They are fun kids. They enjoy riding their bikes, tormenting their sister, who is 3, baking cookies, playing at the playground with their friends.
