When does your Christmas tree/holiday decor go up?

When do you decorate for Chrsitmas (if that is what you celebrate).

We put our tree up yesterday and decorated today. We will get our fresh cut trr next week for the family room. I love the season and every year am chomping at the bit to start decorating, but I hold off till Thanksgiving eve, or the day after. ;)

we put the outside decorations up on Wednesday and turned them on Thursday. But we keep changing it. We took the lights down from around the windows and put the light sculpture things instead and dh is going to use the lights that were around the windows to write "Merry Christmas" on the roof.


we put the tree in Friday night, trimmed some branches and put lights on last night, and tonight we will finish putting decorations on it after dh gets home from work.

We usually spend the weekend after Thanksgiving decorating, the rtree being the fist to go up. We spent htis weekend painting so the decorations will go up next weekend.
