The touch pad on my oven went kerplooey about a week ago. It just started beeping and didn't stop. 24/7!!!!!!! I couldn't unplug because it is a built in double oven, couldn't flip the breaker because the house surge protector is on that line. So for the last week or more I have listened to the oven beep randomly. DD took me out driving (she starts road and range at school next week) and when we returned the repair person had been here and now PEACE!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think my head will relax for a few days though. It was the worst form of torture imaginable!

That must have been just awful!! I don't know if I could have done it, I'd be pulling plugs and eating out.

I did try pounding it with a rubber mallet it relieved aggression but it didn't do a think to stop it haha. My kids laughed and laughed at me pounding the heck out of the oven with a mallet lol

I still hear the beeping in my head!

OH my word is the peace wonderful!!!!!!!!!! Lying in bed, peace, watching tv, peace!

Never knowing if it was going to start was half of the frustration. Even if it was quiet you were sitting tensed just waiting!
