Okay, I have a list of MI midwives now, but I'm not sure where some of them are. IRONWOOD is the only one in the UP as far as I can tell. Wish I had better news for you. Let me know if you want the number.

Thanks for the help in looking. When I was searching back in July, I came up with the same results. The nearest cnm was in Ironwood which is too far to travel during the winter up here. Ironwood is still a good 2 hour drive in good weather. There is a lay midwife who is closer, but insurance won't pay for her, and we can't afford out of pocket.
