just a note of thanks for the suggestions as to what to ask my provider re vbac on our next baby
here is the update:
her recommendation was that we wait till Duncan is 9 months old before ttc. she said the recommendation is that their be 18 months b/t the c-section and the vbac.
my incision is the "correct" type for a vbac- a low transvere
doing a vbac means that they can not induce me or rippen my cervix as that can lead to increase potnetial of uterine rupture. they can augment a labor but not induce.
i would req continuous monitoring (external). they do have a telemetry (sp? ) unit which is portable so i could still walk around etc and not be confined to the bed.
they would want to have a hep lock in case they needed to do an iv
she also recommended hypnobirthing as i want to try w/o meds again..
so....we will likely start ttc in the spring. i am trying to lose the last few baby lbs right now....
i am counting the days till we ttc....
thanks again....
