what do you do when you're sick?

I am so sick and, of course, dh has to work. He said he'd see if he could come home but I told him he knows they wont' let him. What do you do about the kids when you're sick, though? Right now they are eating breakfast but I'm feeling so weak...

I let them play video games and watch tv and they eat cereal. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I try to keep them where I can see them.

Yep, I do as little as possible while trying to keep them safe. Easy foods, lots of tv/movies if necessary, let the house go. I'm going through this now too, only I'm recovering from cosmetic surgery and there is not much I should be doing but sitting down in a recliner.

Watch kiddie movies with mommy curled up in her bed. Make a slumber party out of the time basically. Lots of coloring, popcorn, cereal and PB and J sandwiches. ;) It is soooooo hard though. I have been dealing with this woith morning (or all day) sickness. DH is never home, and I literally can't get out of bed without losing my innards till noon. :( So the kids curl up with me, and Tricia has learned how to get the little bottle of milk and the cereal and 2 bowls and I fix them breakfast in bed with me in mommy and daddy's room. lol (I use 2 breakfast in bed trays) They love it.
