This is for all the moms whose twins are already a bit older: When did you do it? How did you do it? Both together at the same time or one after the other?
You guessed it, it's toilet training time in this house and any advise, stories, whatever you can share, would be greatly appreciated. Jaiden and Benjamin are now 2 years and 4 months old and so I decided to start with potty training just this past Saturday. (Long weekend here...) So far I only did it with Jaiden because the thought of chasing down both of them at the same time seems a bit daunting. Mind you so does finishing with one and starting the other. I'm open for suggestions. With Jaiden we figured out the first day that he doesn't like the potty, he sits on the big toilet with the little extra seat. He seems to be kind of stubborn though and sometimes just refuses to go and try. I was actually quite amazed at how long he stays dry. Of course as soon as the undies go on, he pees. We do give lots of praise and also treats whenever he does the deed.
Anyway, I guess I'm just fishing for any sort of advise. With a new baby joining us in September I would love to have my boys trained. I remember starting dd at 2 years, 3 months when I was pregnant with the twins and she got it actually really quick. Everybody tells me though boys take longer then girls. Anybody???
