I was not feeling very well all day mothers day, and Monday AM I just felt totally weird, and realized my period was a day late. Well, low and behold - we will be having baby #3 in January!!!! We are totally shocked!!!!! We completely were not planning on another wee one this close together (we will have 3 kids, 4 and under! 4, 2 and newborn). We always knew we wanted more, but did not feel this was the right time. Well, obviously God has other plans. ;) We are shocked, but happy, of course. :)

I am however a bit apprehensive, as I have had 3 miscarriages, and I need to get on progesterone before 6 weeks, or I will lose this wee one too. :( Yesterday I went to the clinic and got my care switched to the US Family Healthplan, so I can go through the hospital where Anne was born.... we didn't make it to Bethesda cause she came way to quick! I do not want the stress of that again. So..... I have a great new OB practice, and the great thing, I get to be seen TOMORROW, thats how fast the switch was.... paperwork submitted yesterday afternoon, and I was able to make my appointment within 2 hrs! I give credit the the guy in charge of Tricare here though, he was awesome at expediting things for me. ANyway, as long as I can get the medicine I need quickly, I should be fine, and this little one should be okay!

Mixture of emotions right now, but at least dave is on 'shore duty' and will not have to leave until he/she is about 5 months old.... and even then he will just be in RI, so weekend trips will be regular. He should not have to deploy until he/she isover a year old. YEAH!!! And my parents are here to help me.... Gos works in wonderful ways sometimes. We may not have thought this was the time, but He must have known better! And we are more and more convinced of this the more we think about it. :)

Anyway, if you have a little prayer in your heart that I get the meds I need ASAP that would be terrific!!! Thanks!!!

I am so happy for you. You won't believe this but the last few days I have had a feeling you were pg. Not sure why but I looked up posts you responded on so I could look at your signiture because I thought I saw it somewhere and then couldn't find it again. How weird is that!!!!!!!!!!!

God has a wonderful strange sense of humor. I am totally convinced of that :)

Thanks for all the congrats!

Yes Tricare was nothing but a help for me with this situation. :) The guy they have here (Ray) is a Godsend! He is in charge of it at the clinic. I am going to move my kids to a pediatrician in the same office as my new GP and OB and he is making that go smoothly as well. :)

Honestly, I love Bethesda (where I delivered DD #1, and had planned to have DD#2.... but after Anne's FAST arrival (she was born like 19 min after getting to the hospital right down th road, since I could not make the hour on the Beltway) I am not chancing it this time. I need to PLAN to deliver there, rather than just have it happen. I will miss Bethesda though, really I will. I had 2 awesome midwives there last time, and when I was high risk with Tricia they were AMAZING!!! Great OB!!! I will never forget him. And the nurses were always wonderful when I called about concerns etc., and when needed I could count on getting in ASAP.

SO there ARE some good MTF's around..... and good Triciare people. Just the bad ones give the whole system a bad name I think.... but I also do not think there is an excuse for a BAD MTF.... we deserve state of the art healthcare and treatment. :) Bethesda 99.9% of the time provides that! At least they have for me, and they have saved my dad's life from cancer 2 times, and my mom's over a 7 yr battle (which did end in victory over the disease! :) ) Oh and I was born there 28 yrs ago. ;) lol
