Mine and Dh's baby pictures. All our pictures that we've taken we store on cd's but our baby pictures are another story.

Probably the sentimental things...pictures definitely. For me, it would be the microscope that was my dad's. It's really the only thing of his that I have.
We had lots of stuff stolen during our last move. We made the mistake of taking a trailer and putting the stuff we didn't want the movers to take in it: Frank's extensive collection, all of our jewelry, etc. All in all, it was about 18K. But the things we were most upset about were the little things we kept in our jewelry boxes that weren't valuable to anyone else: my dad's coaches whistle, Frank's little Fabuland mice, things like that.

I would have to say picture albums and home movies.

I have to agree, pictures are up on the top of my list. Most of the stuff in my hope chest: dd's hat and shirt from when she was born, baptismal candles, the unity candle from our wedding, that stuff. My piano is also right up there. As far as furniture goes, that's my #1.

With the hurricane I was thinking about this again.

the hurricane had me thinking about that too. Although we are not in any danger of a hurricaine, we are in tornado territory.
Pictures are my most precious items.
