friend contracting at 10 weeks

Is there anyone who had alot of cramping this early and made it? My only experience with that ended in mc. This is their first pregnancy after 10 years of trying! I feel so bad for her. They have seen the baby and I think it looks good.

The risks are very high that she will loose the baby but braxton hicks actually do start around 8-10weeks so if she is contracting but not cramping there are better chances of her carrying just fine. I had contracting but no cramping with my dd. I also had contracting with cramping with my m/c's.
