I'm currently 26 weeks and I feel aweful! The pressure in my hips is horrible and I feel like if I dont hold my belly and walk, I may fall over. I was checked last Friday and my boys are still really high according to the Dr. It certainly doesnt feel that way though. They are still moving quite a bit so I'm pretty sure things are okay but ouch! :( I even woke up 10 times last night to use the bathroom! Ten times! That has to be a new record for me. Theres just so much pain and pressure. Is this normal? :)

(((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))) or dear......I am afraid I don't have good news for you! I was very uncomfortable by 26 weeks......so much that I began 1/2 days at work (I am a teacher). The pressure at times was pretty bad....and I was called in to get "checked" a lot b/c I felt like they were going to fall out! SLeep became a problem and remained one until the end (actually, until about a month ago LOL) I remember one was pounding on my cervix....
All normal sounding to me.......and like I always say, all of this will be a distant memory, and you will not regret a second of it once you see those two sets of eyes gazing at you ...........*sniff* it still gets to me! You are in for a wonderful experience...it's all worth it.
Sarah :)

It gets really hard the further you get along. For me I had pain on the inside of me, like they were pressing on my internal organs, that hurt! I also remember getting cervix pain too but I can't recall hip pain though. But you do forget these things after time fortunately. It's worth every ache and pain in the end. I was on bedrest at 20 weeks, so I wasn't walking around much but to go to the bathroom so that was good. Although I had terrible back pain from lying around all day and night, it was so hard to get comfortable. As always tell your Dr about the pain, but it's probably normal as you can hear from the other ladies.

Hang in there!

dh said I was in the bathroom every 1/2 hour during the night & it sure felt like it- that does not get better - just worse! I don't remember when I started to feel uncomfortable but I do remember my dr suggesting a maternity belt to help ease the discomfort. It should help - The only way I was comfortable was lodged ina corner of our couch, which broke from me wedging myself into it every day! I stopper going to church because the pews were too hard & would make my legs go numb and I almost passed out one day because I couldn't breathe. Good luck! I went to 39 weeks & 5 days so you have a ways to go!

I started using hypnotherrapy every night at 28 weeks - I'd wake up with my body from the waist down on FIRE with pain. The hypnotherapy helped massively. I'd be pain-free for the entire following day! Worth looking into, IMHO - the u/s techs and nurses were stunned that I was so mobile and comfortable. But it was not some gift of my body, because when I didn't do the hypnosis on myself, I coiuld barely stand up.

Yes, it can get really bad unfortunately. I can remember that it was Fourth of July weekend, I was 37 weeks and it was over 100 degrees. We went to aparty and I put on my bathing suit which was sight for sure. They put a lawn chair IN THE POOL for me and I sat in the pool on the chair the entire day while my dh fetched me drinks and food. LOL

Hang in there. It can get so very uncomfortable from all the weight and pressure. You are doing such a great job Shel. I did use a maternity belt and it helped a lot. Also, whenever you can just lay down and get those feet up.

I've been feeling the same way shel. And being on bedrest, the rest of my body is getting so weak, I can barely move!

They bang up against my cervix like crazy and it hurts so bad. Esp with the stitches in there. I had Bart prop the end of the bed up on a few books to tilt it downward towards my head, which relieves the pressure down there. Seems to help.

Hang in there! Not too much longer!
