How do you find time for your own hobbies? Do you have friends or family to help out? Is the other parent involved? Tell us how you make time for yourself.

Finding time for myself is very difficult because my ex isn't allowed to visit with our daughter -- except for two supervised visits per year. So I have to sneak time. Sometimes I let her watch a movie so I can relax in a hot bath. I've started getting my nails done and I take her along for a "kiddie" manicure. The ladies at the shop love her, so they help keep her amused. Also, she's afraid she'll smudge her nails so she sits at the dryer for a long time. Mostly I only get time for myself by finding things to keep her amused. But at this point in our lives, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have it easy because my XDh and I have 50-50 custody. So they are with me on Fridays when I get done with work until Monday morning. Then every other Monday night I pick them up and have them that night too.
It would be nice for me to have a weekend to myself once every few months, but it's not going to happen until XDH and I go back to court. Which will be two years from now. I don't complain, because one of my best friends is a "true" single mom and never gets a break.
I go out during the week. I am fortunate that my friends/SO don't mind hanging out during the week. I am usually out every night the kids aren't here unless I am really tired.
By the time the kids get back I am tired of having time for myself :)
