Anyone use Walmart brand?

I am due with my 2nd child dec 20 and aM thinking on just using Walmart brand formula since it is the cheapest. Is it more like Enfamil or Similac?

We use the Walmart brand formula for Eric and have had no problem with it. We used Similac with Andrew and started Eric out on that, but I read some people's posts on here about using the generic formulas and decided to try it. I actually like it better than Similac b/c it doesn't bubble up like Similac powder does. It's much cheaper, too! :)

BTW, Wyeth makes Walmart, Target, Kroger and some other brand I can't remember. It's the same exact stuff in a different package. I called the company to double check. It's really convenient b/c although we usually go to Walmart b/c it's closer, when we're at Target I usually buy a can or two to have on hand. It's about the same price as Walmart.

We just finished using it for a year, and it's great. No complaints. It's widely available in several formulations (we used the plain with iron after a 3 month round of lactose free).

I don't know why but my daughter broke out when I gave it to her, makes no sense to me. They do offer coupons on their website, because I wrote them about a sentence on the back of the can and they offered me coupons.

We don't use the walmart brand, but I wanted to emphasize what Kim said. Register with all the baby sites and they'll send you free coupons. We did this with our first and I actually ended up trading other ladies here who used a different brand. With my second I only registered with Similac because I was sure I'd use it, and he had a bad reaction to it and we ended up having to switch to Enfamil - which I had no coupons for - I learned my lesson!
