Hi there everyone.
I was just wondering when your m/s ended. I have been really sick. I throw up 3 or 4 days out of the week, and when I am not throwing up, I am deathly nauseus. I may have a day or two somewhere that I feel "very quesy" and that's the best I've felt since 5.5 weeks.
My MIL had twins (DH is a twin) and she said she had m/s for eight months :mr.pukey: I start back to work/school Sept 7th. I definitely can't work like this! I guess I will have to take my nausea meds which make me miserably constipated...
So...how long did your m/s last? Please tell me it will end soon :)

I had absolutely no m/s when I was having my twins. I had no symptoms of pregnancy at all. Now with my singleton - I was so sick for the first 3-4 months. It was awful. But I think m/s depends upon the person - I had a friend who was sick the entire pregnancy. Ask your mom how her pregnancies went - from what I understand, the way your pregnancy goes can be reflected in family lines (if that made any sense!)

I had nauseau the whole time! Plus heartburn and fatigue....you would think I would have known something was different! Anyway, do the diet secrets, sleep at an angle, and drink lots of water. Hope you get some relief soon!

My Mom didn't get sick at all with either of her pregnancies (singleton). I guess there goes that theory! It seems no one in my family ever got sick at all during pgy. I am the only one.
It seems so random - some people didn't get sick at all, some had relief by week 12-14, and some didn't get relief at all. I bet I will be one of those who is sick the whole time :( I hope I can work like this.

I sure hope it subsides soon. i think it really does depend on the individual. I have never actually thrown up with any of my pregnancies, but feel realy naseous. It usually subsides around 12-14 weeks for me (I'm hoping 12 this time!)

Sorry you have m/s. Must be hard. I never got it with either of my pregnancies. Lucky I guess. I got gallstones instead. :P I would have rather had m/s!
I hope it goes away soon for you!

Mine ended around 16 weeks, I think - which is WAY earlier than it ended with my singleton pregnancies. It also came back, too. But not nearly as bad, very very easy to handle just the morning bit.
I found that a lot of it was low blood sugar - eating CONSTANTLY was a requirement. If I could stay ahead of their consumption of my blood sugar, I was in pretty good shape. If not, it was miserable. Preggie pops helped me bridge the gap (blood sugar boost!) so I could then eat immediately after one, and break the cycle.

I feel for you, I had awful m/s with my girls as well. I can't remember when it went away but it lasted a few months at least. My Mom was one of those people who had really bad m/s all 9 months with all 4 of us kids so I just assumed that would happen to me, lucky for me it went away. I can't imagine being that sick your whole pregnancy, Ugh!
Hang in there, I hope you are feeling better soon. You could ask your Dr if you could take metamucil or a laxative to help with the constipation. Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fruit to help with constipation too, I had that as well and that is no fun either!!
Good luck!
