I 've read mixed reviews on this toy and was wondering if anyone here has it and an opinion.

I've read that it is great for learning numbers and letters and that many kids have fun playing basketball but I've also heard that it breaks easily and some kids have fallen on it and hurt themselves. My DD is almost a year old, petite but walking and not particularly hard on toys.

Any opinion?

My DD has one and she got bored with it pretty fast because it goes up to her waist and she figured out all she had to do to make a basket was place the ball in. Her daddy and her started a game of trying to make a basket from across the room, which was more entertaining, but she never really paid attention to the numbers and letters. It is not very stable, so I could see how someone could fall on it. Not a bad toy, but not one of my top ten either, and Leap Frog has so many other cool things.

We have it and I have to agree, both my dds got bored with it pretty fast. It's currently sitting in the living room corner collecting dust. One of them will play with it from time to time for about 2 mins.

It isn't very sturdy either, tips over very easily.

I agree with what has been said. It's the worst leap frog toy we've gotten. DD got bored with it very fast. Maybe she'll take interest when she's older and learning her letters and numbers more, but for now, it is collecting dust.

I agree with what has been said. Now that Erica and Cody are saying numbers and a few letters, they are actually playing with it more now than when we originally bought it.

Sam was given one for Christmas, and I returned it for a different toy. He was too young to play with it, so I can't rate if kids like it, but when I was fooling around with it, I thought it seemed sort of second rate.
