I'm looking for suggestions for good 'baby' knits books.

I know Debbie Bliss has a couple, which I've seen and liked.

Any other good ones?

Thanks :)

I have some Debbie Bliss books that I love, and I usually go through the pamphlets (little folders or booklets) at the yarn store. I have also ordered some kits from Mary Maxim - with the pattern and yarn, they have some really cute patterns. I have made sweaters with a dalmation, a train, and a big tractor. I also have a kit to make a hockey sweater that I never got around to making.

If you have anything special in mind, let me know and I will look through my patterns!

Good Luck! :D

Took me awhile to find this post - I thought I had lost it...

I'm wondering if you know of any techniques or have a pattern for a baby 'bonnet' (more of a warm-weather style, with a wider brim). I am not even sure if it's possible to knit something with a brim - because they're usually stiff...but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask!

What are your favorite pieces to knit? I've tried my hand at many hats and taken a liking to them. I'm shying away from anything that requires too much assembly - I haven't quite figured that out yet (still a little green...)

I don't knit but I do crochet. If you've taken a liking to hats, you should check out some of the charity knit/crochet sites online.

Also, there is a magazine called Knitty? I think? It has neat stuff.
