bedrail suggestions?

We bought the Safety First one...don't remember exactly what it's called. It's the one that sits on top of the mattress.

Darn thing is a piece of junk! It won't stay down and keeps waking my dd up in the middle of the night because it pops up!

Anyone have a good one they use?

I have one by Safety 1st that worked great for us when we were cosleeping. I'm not sure if maybe it's a different model than yours~ it's the Portable one with soft netting side and the 'feet' slide between the mattress and boxspring.

I've been thinking of getting a different one though for when we switch Sophia to a toddler bed~ Target has one that is longer (56") for $29.99. It got great reviews on their web site and you can only order it online. I don't think I can post the link here but if you go to Target's website just search under 'bedrail' and it is the only one that comes up. hth :)

I am using a Fisher Price bedrail that sounds similar to the one Tanya described. It is 10 years old and still going strong. It will support a lot of weight. I regularly find dd'd nearly 40 lb weight solidly lodged against it and it holds firm.

For now, we are tucking in the sheets and comforter really good and putting a body pillow next to her on that side and pillows on the floor. (Like she needs all that!)

Of course, it all for naught since I can't get her to sleep in the bed consistently!

After buying the Safety First ones I immediately returned them when I realized they are complete junk! We are now using the ones from Target, ordered them online. They look nicer and actually work.

we havent used the one we bought yet, we just bought a set from a company called Summer...we saw it at babies r us, we opened it and it looked ok...

I have a Regalo bedrail like the one on the Target site. Its a nice long one. I really like it. I ordered mine from Speigel about 3 years ago.
